Son of Wiicentric

Dude, that sucks that it was also the weekend before finales and what not. Well, I envy you getting a Wii in the first place, so I take back the "that sucks" :p
Wow, a Wii party. Sounds like a blast!
Well, it wasn't only a Wii party, as there was a fair amount of rocking out to Guitar Hero, but it did make up a good amount of the gameplay. Thanks for reading!
No problem! I enjoyed it, even though it only made me realize how trying a Wii would not be so bad... even though I'm not a gamer, it looks tempting. I know it wasn't just a Wii party but I said "a Wii party" because it was mostly concerning Wii. Nice to know there was some rocking out involved as well :)
No problem. Gaming isn't the biggest part of my life, either, but it's certainly one of the easiest to blog about. I also usually include stuff about movies and such as well, as this isn't my personal, daily-life blog. And yes, rocking out is possibly the greatest thing a person can aspire to do. :)
Oh hell yeah. It's not only fun but entertaining and keeps you occupied for a while.

Yeah, I understand its the easiest to blog about since I've recently found movies easier to blog about than my own personal (and boring, may I add) life. I just haven't been involved in games ever since N64 came out, haha. Maybe it's because no one I know, personally, is an avid gamer (other than WoW lovers).
There's really a lot of politics involved in gaming these days, which is why I suppose Games-blogging has become so popular. Personally, I'd like it to be simpler and to allow more people to just have fun rather than bitching about this or that or going to war because of some video game. They're supposed to be fun, not campaign issues.
I still love reading stories about violent games influencing people to become aggressive. I mean, wow, when will that end? I do agree that it'd be better if people just enjoyed gaming rather than going overboard with analyzing it... and that's coming from someone who loves to analyze things. Games should be left alone for entertainment, seriously. Not everyone who is playing something has a reason behind pure desire to play or will be sucked into being an elf in real life (or whatever character on the game).
